Thanks for all this great information! However, if you're searching for a good supplier for spring bronze or zinc, they've been very reliable over the years. Switch to Threaded Mode. Also, Kilian Hardware is one of my favorite places, and I'm lucky enough to live only 10 minutes away. Vicki, I would plan down the jamb so that it is level all the way around and then install weatherstripping. Thanks for letting me know..gif)

Depending on the steel, it may turn bright blue which is what it's supposed to do , or purple-ish, but repeated applications will darken it further. I carefully nailed alternately toward the top and bottom and did NOT try to keep the nailed edge straight.

How to Install Weather Stripping
Description: I added a little primer and paint, and we were good to go. The weatherstrip needs to go in the rabbet that the door fits into when closed. Works independently of standard anti-condensation heater to prevent moisture buildup when above Corners require the weatherstripping to meet at simple butt joints. The door was modified so that the closed door was sealed to its frame by spring bronze weather stripping.
